2.1 NEW PLAYERS IN LUSTERNIA
Welcome to Lusternia, Age of Ascension!
As a new player, you will undoubtedly be confused. Below are a list of files that you should probably read. Reading them in order is best, but if you feel you already know what you need to about a certain topic, you may skip some of these files.
To read these files, simply type HELP <filename> (e.g. HELP MUDINTRO)
Capital letters are not necessary. There is a lot of information, but after reading these files, you will be prepared to begin your life in Lusternia!
For your gameplay-related questions, use the newbie channel NEWBIE <your question>
Our official guides (HELP GUIDES) may be available to help you as well. The sole purpose of Guides is to help you, our new player.
If you get stuck, remember you can POOLS (HELP POOLS) to go to the Garden of the Moirae. This is a magical place which will let you travel to important points in the Basin of Life. Once you are there, just READ SIGN to work out where to go.
Note that these files are arranged in a standard outline form. The headings of the sections are not help files in and of themselves, though they may share the same name as one of the files in that heading. Many of these files refer to other help files which contain further information on that subject. Though some of the basic help files are listed here, they are by no means the only help files. Typing HELP on its own will give you an index to all the help files.
If you've completed your journey through the Portal of Fate, some of this information may be familiar to you.

These are only a few of the help files that Lusternia has. There is a help file on nearly every subject that pertains to how to play Lusternia. Type HELP on its own to see an index of these files. You may also HELP <word/s> to see if a file exists on something you are curious about, and if it does not exist, a search list of files containing whatever you entered will be returned instead.
