18.14 ROLEPLAY OPPORTUNITIES
Looking to roleplay but having a hard time finding someone to do it with? You can find others who might be interested in impromptu roleplay by use of the RPWHO command. Commands: --------- RPWHO - See who has listed themselves as available for roleplay. RPWHO ON - Declare yourself as actively looking for roleplay. RPWHO OFF - Remove yourself from the list. Config: ------- CONFIG RPWHO ON|OFF - To turn the roleplay channel on/off. If you have it on, you will be alerted when players and denizens become available for roleplay. Keep in mind that just because you or someone else is not on RPWHO it does not mean that you or they are not roleplaying or interested in doing so. This feature only helps tell the world that you are actively, right now, seeking out some interactions. Denizens ======== Denizens may also sometimes be listed on RPWHO as available for interactions, and in which general area. This happens when the admin wish to make it clear that a certain denizen is paying attention - either as part of an event or to make it clear they could be interacted with otherwise. It is also possible for the admin to limit who can see the denizen on RPWHO when the interactions are meant for that denizen's organisation (guild, order, etc.) Even in those cases everyone will still be able to see that a denizen is currently being controlled by the [alert] tag on IH (info here). A denizen not being listed on RPWHO or IH does not necessarily mean they are not actively being controlled by the admin, or that they could not become active if interacted with. This is very important! During events the admin usually have more denizens to control than they can handle, and will not strive to make all of this visible. Expect this to be used rarely.
