What is the Iron Carnival?

Once a star-studded blowout of a celebration that travelled the lands, the Iron Carnival gained a reputation as the most dazzling, transcendent show a visitor could experience. Packed full of games, fairground amusements, and tasty treats from near, far, and beyond, there's sure to be something to tickle your fancy every visit.
Unfortunately, due to staffing troubles and unfriendly competition, it now exists as a mere shadow of its former self - but a fun one at least, rather than something dreary and dreadful!
How can an adventurer help with the Iron Carnival?

The first stage to opening the Iron Carnival is assisting the many acts and sections with construction. You will find that Grimbeard and other prominent individuals working for the Iron Carnival will need all manner of help, and it is your duty as a trusted adventurer to assist them with up to three quests every RL hour. Usually, these tasks involve gathering resources or delivering goods to help open attractions in the Iron Carnival area, allowing it to gradually expand as everyone in the Basin of Life pitches in to do their part.
Of course, doing these jobs is not without its reward: those who assist will be allowed a say in where those resources should go, allowing the whole realm to decide what attraction opens next. Every five RL days, the unopened area with the most contributions will be opened and will remain open for exploration for the duration of the event. Assisting also awards tickets to purchase prizes and goods peddled all over the carnival grounds.
What happens when an area is deemed open and operational?

Beyond being ready to party, there is one little snag adventurers should be aware of: one of Grimbeard's new hires is a bit excitable!
Every time an area is fully operational, Percivale Flambeaux, the new ringmaster and big top announcer, goes on a bit of a rampage and needs to be calmed down - forcibly. An accomplished magician in his own right, Percivale has a diverse bag of tricks that will only expand as he gains inspiration from newly opened parts of the Iron Carnival. Those who assist Grimbeard with calming his ringmaster down will find themselves compensated for their time.
Moreover, the word must be spread about the new attractions open to the public. With each new area opened, adventurers will be tasked with a new job: bringing in the crowds! With the crowds come excitement, and Percivale is liable to get rowdy again, so be on the lookout for the rampaging magician-ringmaster to celebrate with gusto once enough onlookers reach the Iron Carnival grounds! Working as a marketing agent for the Iron Carnival comes with its own rewards, including tickets to purchase prizes and goods all over the carnival grounds.
What are Iron Carnival tickets?

Iron Carnival tickets are Grimbeard's promised payment for various tasks and games in the Iron Carnival itself! Use these to purchase souvenirs, goods, and other trinkets that commemorate the grand return of this vast spectacle! Those who hold high scores during the games in the Midway and elsewhere will find that they reap additional rewards for their prowess, and there is even a possibility that one can make a name for themselves here upon the carnival grounds.

What sorts of activities await us in the Iron Carnival?

Right by the entrance, you can find a job board with tasks posted by Grimbeard and his belaboured crew!
In addition, there are all sorts of games, such as pie-eating contests, a dunk tank, clowns eager to play, and even an observation wheel that allows a glimpse of the land from high above. For those less interested in games, there await performances such as dancing fire eaters, a diverse menagerie of barely tamed beasts, a mechanical prophet who speaks unto the masses, and a wizened fortune teller who always seems to know just a little too much for comfort. Sport a new look with the face painters and gaze upon the phantasmal spectres of visitors from another world!
What happens when crowds arrive?

Games hosted by a given area's worker begin when sufficent crowds arrive into that area. This happens at 25%, 50%, and 75% crowd capacity. The game is then announced and started 10 minutes later. At 100% capacity, Percivale arrives excitedly to engage the crowd in lethal fun. These games are:
Food Court - Pie Eating Cntest:
Chef Barnybias H Crumb is a renowned master of cuisine, and he's very hush-hush about why he's now relegated to the Iron Carnival grounds. Whether he's excited to celebrate or simply a sadist, as the crowds flood the Food Court Barnybias will announce the start of Pie Eating Contests wherein he watches participants enjoy (choke on) endless pies for the chance at ticket rewards and fame.
An announcement will fire in-game and on Discord 10 minutes before the contest starts. Once you've joined, head to the Food Court and prepare to feast. The contest runs for 5 minutes.
Syntax:
CARNIVAL JOIN PIE - Add yourself to the list of participants for an upcoming Pie Eating Contest.
CARNIVAL EAT PIE - During the pie eating contest, consume a pie for points.
Midway - Big Ball Bop:
Fehn Duskworth loves the thrill of the game and will tag in on the action as crowds build in the Midway, launching a giant muku ball into the air and daring carnival-goers to keep it off the ground. This is a fully cooperative effort and the highest scores from each round will live on in history!
No need to join this event - if you see the ball coming down, BOP it up into another room for someone else to launch!
Syntax:
