Huskies and Stockings
Huskies
As Solstice nears, the inhabitants of Solstice Court have rolled up their sleeves and are preparing for the holiday season! Supplies, packages, and mail are all being carried back and forth over the Iceburn Plains by husky-drawn sleds. You might know one of their drivers already – Sarora Bowtail – but the holiday season requires more, much more!
You can now find a supply camp at the pilgrim camp at the foot of Avechna’s Peak (just southwest of the PILGRIMCAMP landmark) where Homney Honeytongue is running the kitchens and keeping the entire camp well-fed – the workers and the huskies. But the huskies love to frolic and escape their pen in search of adventure so Homney would really appreciate some help!
What do you need to do? Head over to Homney to pick up the SOLSTICE_HUSKIES quest that will be active all of December. Bring him cows, sheep, any manner of deer, or carrots from Vesucia to make 5 dog treats. Find huskies loitering along the highways, mountain roads, and in areas near the camp. If you bring 5 huskies back to the camp, you will complete the quest for the day. Not only does that reward credits but also a piece of a curio from the winter set (see HELP WINTER CURIOS).
Stockings
Completing your dailies already rewards wrapping paper for the Solstice Event (see HELP SOLSTICE) but, from now onwards, completing all your dailies will also award a solstice stocking as Ironbeard and the Gnodfather are once again competing for Solstice domination! And Flintbeard is not sitting by idle either, as you will soon see.
The stockings can be hung in manses, and commune and city rooms, max of 1 per room.

At midnight, the person it was hung for can UNWRAP and get their reward:
- 2 Iron Coins
- 1 Macaron Curio piece
- a standard present OR a peppermint/coal piece
For every 5 stockings that you hang, you will receive either a gold stocking that will open on December 25th or a platinum stocking that will open on New Year’s Day.
These extra special gold and platinum stockings will contain:
- 3 Iron Coins
- 2 Macaron Curio pieces
- peppermint piece OR coal piece
- a glowing present
Peppermint and coal can be combined to create special Solstice artifacts (see HELP SOLSTICEARTIFACTS). Meanwhile, glowing presents, when opened, will give you a greater chance of receiving a better present without resetting your present counter. Additionally, 10 other players in your room will also receive a normal present to open at the same time! Spread the joy and cheer to everyone this year!
