The Gnodfather’s done it again!

His ancient war against Ironbeard and Jolly Bundy has reached new heights as he has now teamed up with Ironbeard’s estranged brother, Flintbeard! Together, they have fermented unrest within Jolly Bundy’s workshop and caused much of the staff to take early retirement or quit altogether.

The gnome toymakers are still hard at work, but who will wrap all the presents for Ironbeard to carry? That’s where you step in!

Throughout December, our new Solstice event will let you send anonymous gifts and custom festive messages to players not only here in our own realms, but across all of the Iron Realms games. Wrap up something generous, or slip in something a little more nefarious, and help spread chaos, kindness, and mischief in equal measure.

To send a present, you need to gather some wrapping paper first, and you will do so as you complete your daily credits, up to a maximum of 10 wrapping papers gained per real day. You only need 5 wrapping papers to send a present, so keep the extras for other days, as you can only send one present a real day. If you send a present, you are eligible to receive a present too! Those are delivered in waves throughout the day, so keep an eye out, you never know when something might land in your hands.

Inside the presents, you will find small gifts and boons. The gifts range from simpler to a bit fancier, but all are intended to be transient. Some, like clothing, could be runed if desired, though. The boons include experience, lessons, credits, Iron Coins, and gold.

As you all send gifts, you will fill a global cheer meter across the realms. Every present nudges it further, and whenever it hits the highest level, something will happen within the Basin of Life. Slow and steady at first, the festive nature of the meter will make itself known across December.

Senders will also earn special milestone rewards as they help Ironbeard with his deliveries. These are as follows:

• 1 present sent – a stacking experience buff for the helper’s nation
• 3 presents sent – 5 glowing presents
• 5 presents sent – 5 vault keys
• 10 presents sent – a Solstice Voucher (for a voucher-only shop)
• 15 presents sent – a shiny new beast – a bear
• 20 presents sent – a package containing one hundred macaron curios
• 25 presents sent – an honour line

Every present you send also grants you a ticket in the Solstice lottery. At the end of the event, three lucky winners will receive credit prizes:

• 1st prize: 1000 credits
• 2nd prize: 500 credits
• 3rd prize: 250 credits
