7.20.22 WINTER CURIOS
This collection of winter-themed curios is focused on roleplay, fun, and utility and has no combat purpose. Inspired by Solstice but offering much utility beyond the season, all of the curios can be displayed in a manse with CURIO ANCHOR or dropped elsewhere temporarily. All curios can be PROBED for further information about syntax, with some of it only visible and usable by to the owner. Available curios: - a cozy fireplace Light it for a cozy ambience. Flames can be coloured with tints and scented with herbs, it can also burn up stationery in style. - a frost-shrouded window Choose from among a handful of wintry places to focus it on and gaze into the beyond. Offers ambience fitting the area it is focused on. - an elegant gnomish phonograph Plays wintry compositions slowly, offering suitable musical background for dancing or conversation. Plays autonomously or permits choice. - a string of faerie lights Light them and adjust the colour for whatever atmosphere you have in mind. Periodically fires suitable ambients. - a red candle Adjust the candle with tints for the right colour and choose one of many scents. Light it to accompany a quiet evening, a ritual, or even a dank cave. - a lush fir tree Nothing says Solstice like a decorated tree. Choose one of many toppers, ornaments, and lights, and allow it to provide festive ambience. - a frozen pond snowglobe Turn any place into a frozen pond and allow everyone to skate to their heart's content. Skill still matters so be sure to practice. - a ruddy-faced gnome This one will work for you and not Jolly Bundy due to its mechanical nature. At your behest, it will deliver items and send messages. Functions both as a beepbeep and a deliverer. - a majestic sable husky A faithful mechanical companion, unless it has a tantrum. The husky will deliver your items to others, and follow you faithfully as a companion (much like Zemeran Toys). - a gingerbread house Not only does it look tasty, but it can fit up to 100 items and keep them safe. Functions like an artifact trunk, with items inside decaying at half the normal rate. Can be knocked on to lock and unlock it. Source of gingerbread joy when on display.
