7.16 TINTS AND THEIR USES

Tints come in several colours, including red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and others. They are created from herbs by those who have learned how to create tints in the general skill of Arts. Tints can be combined to form palettes of paint, useful to both artists and tarot card inscribers. Tints themselves are needed by those with the rune skill to inscribe their runes.

Designs should include all tint colours needed to depict the colours mentioned if they do not occur naturally for the commodity being used (cloth is white/grey, leather is brown, etc.). If you need to use three or more tints to reflect the colours, it is recommended to use one 'palette' commodity instead to cut down on the amount of tints needed.
