Custom Beast Submission System

We are pleased to announce that the custom beast submission system is now live – see HELP CUSTOM BEAST SUBMISSIONS! This means that, rather than e-mailing support to request a custom beast, you will now fill out all the required information in-game. We will review the submission and get back to you, either approving it or requesting changes. Once the submission is approved, you finalise the purchase, which then creates the beast.

There are a few major benefits to this new approach. On your end, it allows you to see all information about your purchased beast in one place – including all its lines and reactions – and to request it in-game. On our end, it allows us to involve a larger number of admin in reviewing submissions, and it automatically creates the beast (and even its standard prog) from the provided lines. Speeding up the process means you can receive a standard beast much faster, and later augment it with reactions and other requests through e-mail as usual.

Before requesting a beast, please make sure to review all relevant help files. Submissions that are filled out correctly make the process much faster on our end. If we have to dig through every help file to identify issues, proofread the submission, and list every typo and grammar problem line by line, the process takes significantly longer. The main help files to keep in mind are:

HELP CUSTOMISATIONS
HELP CUSTOM BEASTS
HELP CUSTOM BEAST SUBMISSIONS

If you currently have a custom beast submission pending via e-mail, please transfer it to this system instead. This will save us time and help us test the system. We will be alerting those who have already requested custom beasts about this new method soon, but you are free to get started right away.

What’s next? We have a number of ideas for expanding the system in the future, though this will depend, as always, on coder availability. Potential expansions include dweller submissions and reactions, as well as adding information about existing custom beasts so everyone can enjoy the reference it provides. We discussed these options with Orael (who coded the system) prior to release and believe the system is sufficiently future-proofed to support them without major difficulty. We’ll keep you updated if any of these plans gain momentum.

Happy submitting!
