The Retreat of the Time Dame

A loud keening rose up from the Southern Mountains, followed by a loud explosion. A fountain of rock and debris shot up from the middle of the mountain range as the Wheel of the Goloths wobbled up into the air and hovered over the Basin of Life. However, the Wheel was damaged, letting loose erratic forks of lightning while sputtering and dipping dangerously close to the ground, rising and flaling in jerks and jumps.

Draped in black silk, a female figure appeared in the Wheel, the one enormous eye in the centre of her face glowing like a fiery crimson coal. It was Rusacha, Time Dame of the Weft. She was searching for the Time Dame of Destruction known as Stepasha.

Time Dame Stepasha was in hiding with her horde of Dominators in the Ruins of Shallach. Walking up the crumbling stairs of a broken tower, she revealed herself and admitted that her mission ended in disaster. But the Wheel of the Goloths was unstable and fell to the base of Avechna’s Peak. Time Dame Stepasha made a quick march from Shallach to the Wheel, leading her much reduced army.

Eventually, Time Dame Stepasha was able to escape into the Wheel, but not before giving the Basin of Life a warning that eventually the Time Dames would be victorious because they controlled the future itself.

After she left, the damaged Wheel of the Goloths released an explosion of temporal energy that rippled outwards, leaving behind ghostly images of a dark and devastating future.

Now, unstable points of time and space are peppered throughout the Basin of Life. The arduous process of removing these anomalies has been taken up which will hopefully stabilize the Wheel of the Goloths and prevent further chaos.
