5.19 MOTTO

Your motto is a short bit of text that you can specify to go off whenever you type motto. For instance, if Roark typed:

SET MOTTO Magic is fun! BE THE MAGIC!

then when Roark types MOTTO, people will see:

Roark is filled with proud joy as he declaims, "Magic is fun! BE THE MAGIC!"

Use common sense for your motto. It doesn't have to be as serious as a warcry (see HELP WARCRY) but you must pick only one. It _does_ have to be meaningful in an in-character way. You can clear a motto, when you have one, by simply typing SET MOTTO with nothing following it.

Some things must, of necessity, be out of character. Reference to downtime, or bug fixes, or whatever. Mottos aren't one of them.

Note: Your MOTTO is public, and will show up when other players check your HONOURS.
