Greetings all.
The recent grand event in my home forest of Glomdoring cannot have
escaped your attention since the full grandure of the forest that up
till now was only visible to its denizens has been revealed for all to
see.
The Wyrd
For years debate has raged across the basin both openly and in closed
session on the nature of glomdoring and the supposed presence of the
taint. Many who have not visited or studied the forest in depth argued
of the presence of the taint and those who dedicated their life to it
have argued against it. This point is now completely moot since no trace
can be seen today.

The Wyrd is quite simply and utterly the physical manifestation of the
beating heart and soul of Glomdoring, the immutable bond between commune
and forest made real by the power that lies within it. When Viravain and
Isune tried to change the forest it was not its nature that they
attempted to transmute but simply to lift the thin veil of appearant
taint to reveal our true nature, both powerful and beautiful.

I say this now as an academic of Glomdoring, dedicated only to the truth
- Glomdoring is not tainted in any way and not one trace of the touch of
Ketharu remains on its lands as it did in times long past. It has not
been tainted since Varavain cleared it so many years ago but has only
appeared so to those blind or unworthy to see its true beauty.

So now I issue this challenge to all you academics and the polititians
that you fuel. Now that you can see the true essence of Glomdoring
shining bright and magnificent through the Wyrd, now that you can see
our home as it truely is - untainted, now what have you to say for your
crusades against the taint that bring your warriors so regularly to our
blades?
