Today, the first grand debate was hosted since the Exodus of the Elders
from Lusternia and the collapse of the Fifth Circle. Scholars from all
over the realm made their way to the Transcendental Fulcrux to cross
minds and thoughts in a great debate concerning the nature of Mortality
and Immortality.

I am most pleased by how everyone behaved themselves and it was truly a
great pleasure to watch people share opinions, disagree, convince and
debate in a respectful and polite manner that was truly worthy of those
who walk in the light of the ancient Fifth Circle. There truly are many
great minds among us, and I look forward to seeing how they will develop
as time moves on.

Looking into the success of this debate, I shall be sure to host more of
them in future, and perhaps even make them into something of a
competitive nature as they once were, where the Thinkers would
afterwards decide which Elder had "won" the debate. If further debates
also conduct well, I shall be most interested in seeing more personal
subjects debated, like for example the nature of the Taint, the nature
of the Wyrd, the Light or even the Soulless. My confidence in the
possibility to debate even these sensitive subjects peacefully has been
severely strengthened.
