Conflicts and Confrontations between Novices

I'd meant to post my concerns a few months ago when I first became aware
of this issue, but time slipped away from me. I'll try to keep my
message brief and to the point.
I am unaware what training, if any, other organizations give their
novices, nor would I presume to demand that my concerns be taken into
account. I can only hope, for the good of the entire Basin and the
furthered growth of the realms, that my words will be considered.
Without going into specific details, as the ones I have may not be the
only side of the issue, those who can or should be Innocent should be
allowed to remain so. Time and experience will shatter their Innocence
soon enough without those more knowledgeable urging them to participate
in the ongoing conflicts between different organizations. As different
cities and communes, and different guilds within those areas, we
obviously have a history of dissention, whether from differing beliefs
or from outright physical conflict.
Encourage your novices to avoid others of groups you dislike or oppose,
if you will, but please discourage them from insulting, following,
attacking, or harrassing those others. Having watched the appearance of
approximately a hundred novices in the past few years step through the
Portal of Fate into the Moondancers, it worries me that easily over half
to two-thirds simply vanish once again, their spirits distancing
themselves once more from the realms. Certainly there could be other
reasons for this, which I do not doubt, but for so great a number to
back away gives me reason for concern.
I hope I am not being too optimistic to say I believe none of us, at
heart, wish for even those of opposing organizations to be driven from
the realms so soon after stepping through the Portal of Fate due to an
atmosphere of hostility and harrassment which prevents them from
learning and experiencing the better things life here has to offer.
Thank you for listening,
