What reason do we have?

Hello Diamondais.

You're asking why an innocent healer is attacked, here's an answer.

We are Glomdoring. Whenever we enter faethorn, we are given the choices
of door or die, provided, that is, we are given any choice or warning at
all before we are slain, no matter if a combatant or a pacifist, known
enemy or innocent bystander.

They are Glomdoring, they are the enemy, they must be destroyed. This
I've come to learn is the doctrine as preached by Serenwilde's
leadership, and the doctrine applied by your combatants.

So you claim to be innocent...

Well then, tell me, Diamondais, how are you innocent if it was you who
raised the combatant who went and slew members of the Glomdoring?
Allowing the murderer's blade to strike again makes you as guilty as
him, makes the blood on his hands the blood on your hands, blood of my
brothers and sisters in the commune.

Maybe if this were a better world healers would be spared, but it is
not. No mercy is shown to us, we are spat on, we are hunted, we are
buthered like animals. And still you dare come before the public and
demand understanding for your supporting this slaughter, mercy as you
only help for the slaughter to continue?

We know how we are seen by your people, and we have learned to deal with
it. Disagreements and enmity aside, the kindness shown to your enemy is
the kindness your enemy will show you. This is a lesson I've tried to
teach the Serenwilde while I was one of you, a lesson that has been
ignored and discarded with excuses, discarded by a people too eager for
bloodshed to allow for mercy.

Think about this, Diamondais, next time you raise one of those who raid
my home, and do please ponder on your innocence.
