Morals

Being a member of the northern commune who follows the path of the
redcaps and other such avatars and aspects of Night and Crow, and yet
yourself being one who does not follow those paths I can understand your
confusion.
The people in the south, from what you wrote in your post, appear to
have a strong understanding of the wisdom of thier communities. They
learn the path and teaching of the way that leads to power and
advancement, and as such are very proud of thier ways. It is only
natural that we will call people who do not follow these ways fools and
insult them for not understanding true wisdom.
I can understand how in the North, where people teach one path but act
on another path, that such pride in wisdom would not exist.
A great example of this hypocrasy in your teachers is that you find
healing a person on the battlefield to be some kind of action that does
not warrant you to be attacked. This is foolishness to the greatest
degree, and you may ask any of your leaders such as Gregori who have
excelled in the ways of Glumkhi, who is and who is not a person that
should be attacked before they can cause such problems.
When you get past the darkness and secrecy in the North, and learn the
true power that comes from Night, then you will not be so confused when
your leaders commit actions that cause you to meet the brutish,
merciless, and violent hounds of war that exist in the south.
Helping in your understanding,
Daganev Treeripper, the Merciless.
