To Silver Regent Xiran, and to all whose eyes are turned toward the Light
It is a grievous thing when peace gives way to accusation, and trust begins to fray beneath the weight of fear. The Moonhart Circle has spoken with clarity and passion. I answer in kind, not with anger, but with truth.
Let us begin where we share common ground: conviction. The strength to act boldly in service to one's people is a mark of leadership, and in that, we see a reflection of ourselves. Just as the Silver Regent speaks fiercely for her forest, so too does Sir Inagin La'Saet speak for ours. His manner may challenge comfort, but his purpose has never wavered. He seeks the protection of New Celest and its future. To silence him for his resolve would betray the very principles we each claim to uphold.
You accuse Celest of corruption, cruelty, and the defilement of sacred ground. Yet it is Serenwilde that has closed its borders and barred its neighbors. It is Serenwilde that now demands the exile of one of our citizens, not for deceit, but for conviction. He dared to respond to provocation with action. This is not a call for peace. It is a political ultimatum, issued even as members of the Moonhart Circle continue to interfere in Delport, a territory under Celestian stewardship.
We believe that love does not require passivity, that unity does not demand silence, and that Light is never weakness. The Light does not cast out its own for speaking boldly, especially when those words are spoken in service and guided by purpose.
Regarding Lady Zynna and Sir Inagin, let me speak plainly. Both have acted in the best interest of New Celest. Lady Zynna's decisions in Delport reflect the responsibility we hold as its stewards. Her presence was not a transgression, but an act of care in a place we are entrusted to guide. As for Sir Inagin, his actions were not unprovoked. They arose from sustained hostility and were guided by his unwavering loyalty to Celest. However one may judge his methods, his intent has never faltered: to defend our people and respond as he believed was necessary. Neither acted recklessly. Both acted with purpose, rooted in duty and trust.
You describe our Light as twisted. Yet what we offer is not domination, but stewardship. Our gates remain open. Our markets remain shared. Even in the face of bans, condemnation, and silence, New Celest has continued to offer a hand in dialogue. That is not submission. It is the strength of a people who will not answer exclusion with the same.
Let it be known: we will not cast out those who serve with devotion. We will not falter under accusation. But we will continue to seek understanding, and we remain open to discourse.
This is not the end of conversation unless you choose to make it so. The path forward remains, lit not by pride or retaliation, but by the enduring clarity of purpose.
We do not demand agreement. But we do believe in the dignity of being heard. The Light asks for no permission to shine, and it does not flicker beneath judgment.
We are steady. We are listening. And we are clear.
In steadfast love and unwavering truth,
