The Great City of Acinivar

Some have heard rumours of a new aethercity in forming, and to an extent
that is true. I will take this post to explain what Acinivar is.

My family has always been one for magic, and has always had a keen
interest in the city of Halifax, despite the fact that neither my human
mother, or merian father, had any family roots there. It was like a pet
project for them. They had found some information, some small pieces of
obscure research that mentioned a city, a great city, one of flight, was
lost between the worlds. Or so they translated the documents they had as
such. They made this discovery fifteen years before I was born, fourteen
years after I was born, they had believed to have discovered the city
they sought, the city they thought was Halifax.

In the effort to bring the city back to the prime plane, they made a
mistake in the channeling of the magical energy, and while they
succeeded in their mission, the magical explosion destroyed them, and
the few others who were helping them. However, the portal had been
formed, and it wasn't long before I manage to find my way there, and
using the decrepit remains of its old navigation system, connected it to
the aetherways of the Prime plane.

This city, was a ship and bubble, all at once. While now, its function
as a ship is crippled, like its walls, halls, streets, homes, and
alleyways, it is being rebuilt into the former glory it once was. But
alas, it is not Halifax, but merely an ancient city lost to the
aetherways who knows when.

This is a call to those interested in unlocking the mysteries of this
ancient place, or just interesting in building themselves a new home. A
loose government has formed to manage the archaeology, and rebuilding
efforts. I represent this Conclave, as its Prioress, and the first of
the Parayshia Dynasty over the city of Acinivar.

This is not a haven to rogues, but nor will I turn away rogues who wish
to live here. This is a haven to our history, and to history unknown to
us. It is a place of learning. I do not want people to confuse
membership in Acinivar as citizenship in Acinivar. Acinivar is not like
a prime city, its glory has come and gone. For now, it is little more
then a living museum of another time and place. If you are interested,
simply send me a letter with what you are interested in, and we can see
how you can help.

This message is approved and signed by the Conclave of Acinivar,
Signed by Prioress Callia Parayshia

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Estar, in the year 167 CE.
