You are mistaken if you believe that Celest has not already risen, as a
phoenix rises serenely from blackened ashes to begin life anew. Those
ashes are the past, and they are black indeed. But like the phoenix, the
Serene Empire is eternal and inextinguishable; however little you may
understand, and however much you may envy it, its ascent is unstoppable.

But rather than blaming us for the mistakes of our ancestors, why not
address the present?

Yes, Emperor Ladantine released the taint upon the world; this is why we
make its destruction our foremost priority. However, I fail to see how
you can accuse us so vehemently, because whereas Celest is at war with
this traitorous, upstart 'empire' of the taint - Magnagora - Serenwilde
is not.

In fact, current Seren policy seems to advocate full support of
Magnagora, with the two organisations forming trade links, co-operating
in defence of one another's territory and mounting joint offensives upon
the Holy Realm.

So if Serenwilde's duty is, as you claim, to correct the wrongs of the
old empire - you are failing spectacularly. We see correcting the wrongs
of the past as our duty. Perhaps this why so many Serens flock to the
resurgent empire?

I advise that you think before you put quill to parchment. Your audience
are immune to tired and vapid propaganda.
