right.. sorry for the.. uncomprehensive post last time about this messed
up war. so, here, let me try this again. with help from a friendly
scribe. I may even shorten it. Though it seems I'm still missing some
facts.. *sigh* well, here goes.

Three serens are chatting, about the war and all of it's tangled mess.
Obviously between serenwilde and celest. The younger male of the three
asks the older
"I'm just curious, do you know who hunts the angels?"
But he is ignored by the older male Seren, who's busy talking to the
younger male serens friend. Though finally he says that he doesn't want
to see either leave seren, for all seren are family.
With this the younger male quips, "Aye, yet we turn on each other over
the drop of a hat."
The older Seren shakes his head and says, "It is never that simple."
He ponders for a second and adds, "Seren have a choice, it is who we
are. You can choose to bring about change through words and deeds, or
you can try by saying "We won't come back until you change, which is
essentially what the New Leaf is doing."
The young Seren looks quizically at the older seren and says, "You
admitted yourselves, a few people hunted the angels right? Why can't we
just drop this whole mess, let them have their ban on the angels, in
turn they have to do something for us?"
The older quickly states, "Because hunting Angels is their choice. We
won't ban it because someone tells us to."
The female seren then says, "I thought the deal was that we didn't hunt
angels, and they wouldn't hunt fae."
Bewildered and already confused, but feeling as if he's on a revelation
the young male seren presses on. "But here's the problem. we've asked
them to ban attacking the fae, right?"
The older male seren replies calmly, "Aye, in a way. Did they have to do
it? No. But if they didn't stop their people hunting Fae, then we would.
They could have just as easily chosen not to ban hunting fae, and for a
while, that ban was removed."
The young seren continues to question, "But they did ban it right? and
no one from their came to harm the fae, right?"
The older seren answers "Right. Except during the time when they removed
the ban."
"They then did put it back up, until this time right?" the young seren
seemed to be full of questions this month
a bit bemused and flustered the older serene nods as he says, "Correct."
The determined younger seren feels as if he's found something, the
revelation and then blurts out, "You see the problem then? it's US! The
Serenwilde, or it's leaders."
The older seren a bit surprised by this replies "No, I don't. If they
didn't ban taking fae, were we going to go to war? No. We were going to
do what we always do, protect the fae. They however, when we didn't bow,
decided it would be better to go to war. They didn't have to ban taking
fae, just as we don't have to ban killing Angels."
Not letting go of a new found idea the young seren continues on, "That's
the problem! Are you too proud or old to see it? We asked them to put a
ban up.. and they did. then they asked us for the same later. and we
denied. our leaders denied."
The older seren replies, "Then they should have reacted the same way we
did when they had no such ban." He pauses and says grimly, "I'm sorry
but that's the way it is."
The younger seren balks at this and stammers a bit with bewildered
determination, "You.. . The point is, we asked Celest of something. They
honoured it. Did we honour their request? NO!"
The older seren sighs softly and softly says "I don't want to be at war
either."
the younger seren say with gusto, "We should just honour their request,
as they have honoured ours. that will solve it, to an extent."

Though of this post I'll admit.. I'm just as confused as before.. since
the little bit of information I had gained then, was missing that one of
celests own had indeed went agaisnt that ban, which caused a bit more
problems, one being serenwilde letting two of it's people to hunt angels
in kind to the one celestinian, and then to this ultimately. I'm back to
square one with confusion. it seems the elders of the realms are great
at creating confusion and chaos. that's just my view anyway. enough of
my rambling.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Kiani, in the year 154 CE.
