Usage of Terms

Dear Glomdoring,

I thought it best to kindly inform you that we did not break our oath,
nor 'renigg' or whatever other terms you all have so kindly used. The
oath forced upon us by your patron, Viravain, has been released - we are
no longer bound by it, and we have not been for several months. However,
as the Glomdoring continued to slaughter the Ladies of Moon and act as
though nothing was happening, and even sought to defend their own while
they were put down for such atrocities, I cannot blame Nejii nor the
Council for deciding that we must no longer hold to something we are no
longer bound by.

I know some of you thought this oath was a step in the right direction -
it was not. You cannot expect to force someone to your will, and have
them be your best friends. We are not so simple-minded as some creatures
Night manages to convince to Her will. We are not so forgetful that a
quick song will force us to abandon all allegiance we have to the Great
Spirits of Nature Moon and Stag, and view them in equal light as the
once Spirits of Nature turned Spirits of Wyrd Malevolent Night and
Wicked Crow.

Some of you still seek peace - others have given up on it. Speaking as a
person, a deeply devout follower of Brother Hart, speaking without
authority of any kind - I cannot imagine peace between our forests, so
long as Crow harbors ill-will against our Guardian, Brother Hart. Many
things would need to change within the Spirits of the Wyrd's mentality,
in order for peace.

I find it sad that these things have come to pass - the Tale of Viravain
was one orated to me in my brief childhood. Had Gloriana returned, had
She not sought the easy way out, and used the Seal of Nature - I suspect
many things would be different.

But Gloriana's path ended when Kethuru's touch destroyed Him. So now
Glomdoring exists - and it's path is a wicked and twisted one, as tricky
as the Cawed Lies of Crow, and the Mis-Truths of Night. And so I wish
you luck on your path - however brief I hope it will be.
