I have next to no interest in this exchange of pontification and
rhetoric, save that I hope it gives those involved some small pleasure.
But I wanted to rectify one little error.
It is easy to see how people would conclude Dakine was praising the
Celestian philosophy when he spoke of the Light. However, this is not
the case. The poor boy simply had misunderstood some of his
thus-far-limited reading of the histories. He was quite surprised indeed
to realize people had taken that first line as referring to Celest, and
ignored the following lines which did not.
He'll be spending some days reacquainting himself with the histories and
communing with the Great Spirits, you may rest assured. It would be well
advised not to read into his comments anything more than an academic
mistake of youth, though. With that in mind, please do go on. Those who
read this sort of thing are no doubt awaiting more with bated breath.
