Dear Nokraenom,
I am utterly disappointed that a Nihilist of such rank as you is
completely ignorant of the Elder Gods who represent his city. It is well
known that both Lord Fain and Lord Raezon have in their own methods
attempted to ally with the Soulless in years past. Lord Fain, as I
understand, developed most of His ill relations with several other
Elders do to this. Lord Raezon has attempted to unearth the secrets of
the Soulless as a mean to empower Himself. Furthermore, let us not
forget it was the acts of Lord Raezon that lead to the resent release of
Kethuru upon the Basin. I am not sure if this was Lord Raezon's intent;
however, it was by His manipulations that such occurred.
"It is oft repeated that the Taint is an extension of Kethuru's grasp,
and that those who are Tainted seek to destroy all existence and free
the Soulless Gods from their prisons."
While I was quite pleased when Kethuru turned upon Magnagora, I must say
that during Kethuru's release, Magnagora attempted to ally with him.
However, this failed terribly as he was greatly insulted and attacked
after shouts of Magnagorans swearing fealty. Furthermore, while Lord
Fain and Raezon may not seek the aide of Kethuru, there are other
Soulless Gods of lesser power than would be more easily manipulated. For
you to imply that They would turn down this chance if it was ever
presented is a blatant lie and shows your utmost ignorance.
As a side note, I have gazed upon the spirit of King Gorgaliel when I
took the corpse of the Gorgulu to Lady Elohora. I can assure that his
spirit writhes in pain because of the Taint. He yearns to be free of it,
and for this reason, he destroyed the Necromentate and assaulted the
Megalith before Magnagora could re-taint his spirit. For you to imply
that the Taint is anything another a parasitic blight that infects the
natural forms of all creatures is nothing other than a reflection of
your bias.
