Enchantment Clarification

Greetings to the Basin of Life!

I'd like to borrow a moment of your time to talk about something that
many people find a little confusing. Namely, enchantments.

Many people have heard that they exist, may have heard some notable
people mention things such as Mercy, Waterwalk and mana regeneration and
what not. Some have heard dubious rumours that enchantments were in some
way harmful to the item that was being enchanted. Allow me to clarify as
the subject is something of a more than casual interest for me.

To benefit from the services of an Enchanter you will need something to
be enchanted. Fear not, the item is not in any risk so be assured when
you hand it over to your Enchanter.

Items that can be enchanted are the following:
Rings - These hold 10 charges (where charges represent how many times
you can use the enchantment before it wears off)
Bracelets - Hold 20 charges
Necklaces - Hold 30 charges
Heirlooms - 40 charges
Wands - 50 charges
Crowns - 70 charges

Now, having got your particular item in hand you have to decide what you
want to get it enchanted with. Let us regard some of the most popular
enchantments you can get.

Mercy - This enchantment will regenerate your health for you. Rub the
enchanted item once and you're all set, it works automatically from that
point on.
Perfection - Regenerates mana, works the same as Mercy (as do other
enchantments)
Beauty - Regenerates the ego.
Kingdom - This enchantment will clot blood in the body for you making
you far less at risk of bleeding to death or at least staining your new
clothes.

There are many many more enchantments that can be done and to find out
more about them, just talk to an enchanter and see for yourself how
these simple and inexpensive things can greatly ease your life or aid
you in ending someone elses.

Sincerely,

Anarias
