The Blossoming of Glomdoring

The Glorious Forest of Glomdoring has risen, the Coven of Mother Night
has formed, and Mighty Crow has found his Dark Nest from which he can
teach his hatchling. Mortals have flocked to our little corner of the
Basin to form a community, and I am pleased. As my mind settles after
the strain of remaking Glomdoring, I am overjoyed to see such noble
spirit blossom within the heart of our beautiful woods. However, it is
troubling that, though we only wish to be left alone, that other
organizations do not respect such a simple wish. Serenwilde, our sister
forest who I have never said an unkind word towards, seems intent upon
cutting down our trees. Magnagora, who at first opposed my remaking of
the forest, seems intent upon pressing us to influence villages and
taking Glomdoring under its metaphorical "paternal wing".
Why is it that we cannot be left alone? Why must the rest of the Basin
push us to fight them or join them? Does Serenwilde truly wish to engage
us in an eternal conflict? Does Magnagora think we have so much in
common that we are brothers in a common goal? Perhaps that is where the
future will push us, but for now Glomdoring doesn't want your villages
or to fight you or your help. We simply wish to be left alone. Is that
so much to ask?
Glomdoring is Me and I am Glomdoring. As such, I am displeased to notice
shrines to other gods in my forest. No, I do not wish conflict with any
of my brothers or sisters, but I find it disrespectful that these
shrines exist. I do not erect shrines in your chosen areas, so I expect
the same consideration. I would ask that these shrines be removed from
Glomdoring by the end of next month. If not, I will have no choice but
to consider it an act of war against me.
