Good people of Estelbar

Written by: Moonlight Song of the Seren, Sonata Du'Vantae

Addressed to: Everyone

Dear friends, denizens of Estelbar,

It is with sadness that I see you have put aside memories of your
enslavement and slaughter by members of the City to which you now offer
your allegiance. We, in the Serenwilde, can say with all truth that we
did our best to free your kin from the slavery that those you now call
masters inflicted upon you.

Indeed, as you were being persuaded to offer your allegiance to your
slavers, some of that City slew your kin, and yet you were still
persuaded that the prospects were better for you under their dominion.

I hold my head in my hands and weep for you this day. May the Gods have
mercy upon you, for your new slavekeepers, whom you elected, will show
you no such mercy.

Sonata Du'Vantae

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Juliary, in the year 105 CE.
