Greetings Serenwilde,
I am Lydin, a young Moondancer. So far, since I have emerged from
The portal of fate, I have spent my time remembering, and exploring,
and generally getting my feet under me. I wish to thank everyone who
has aided me in this, and extend a very warm Hello! to all of my
commune mates.
I am posting, in addition to introducing myself, because I have spent
several days reviewing the history of posts to this channel, and I am
moved by the concern that many of us show for the wellbeing of our
commune. We have many challenges. I wish to be a part of meeting them.
I am a young man, not so experienced and wise as many of you. However,
I am young, and strong, and ready to learn. I wish to offer my
service in meeting the challenges that face us as a community.
I have read many Ideas and Suggestions here. When it comes to putting
them into Action, if there is anything I can do, from running simple
errands, to raising gold, power or other resources for a purpose,
please let me know.
Furthermore, I read a post or two suggesting organized teams that
train together to defend the community or influence villages.
I love the idea, and would like to organize a small grop, say three
to six young adventurers who want to meet new people, help the
community,
and build teamwork. Practically, the group would work together to attain
(at first) simple goals for the benefit of Serenwilde, such as finding
wayward pixies, hunting for essence, and influencing denizens. After
bashing and sparing and training together, the group could be an
effective
response unit for situations in which group combat is called for. These
are just some ideas. Much could be accomplished with such a small,
connected
group. It all depends on the goals and ideas of the members.
So, in conclusion, Merry Meet, Serenwilde! I want to help my community
and if you have an idea on how to tackle the obstacles facing us, I'd
love
to be part of it. And finally, please contact me if you have any
interest
in being part of a small group in service to the Serenwilde.
