An Interesting Truth

To the misguided Wyrdling,
As usual, airing dirty laundry reveals just how willing people are to
exaggerate the truth for their own gain. I have no idea what transpired
between you and the Seafolk, and quite frankly, I do not care. You do
not have my condolences, nor my sympathy. I chuckle to think that you
believe your plight as prey is important enough for all the Basin to
hear.
I particularly laugh at the part where you accuse the Serenwilde of
conspiracy with New Celest against your person. That we would "bow down"
to the will of the Western City is equally laughable. Yes, the
Serenwilde and the Seafolk have seen it best to work together in the
past, but by no means does the Star Council have any control over the
Northern Wood. We like to keep it that way.
You case is a perfect example. Did the Seafolk ask the Seren to assist
in the hunt for you? Perhaps. Did some agree? Perhaps. Were the Seren
told to all hunt you, or was your bounty even publicly announced? Not
that I have heard, and I like to believe I have an ear in most circles,
whether they want me to or not. You may whine on and on about how New
Celest and the Serenwilde are teaming up against you, but did you ever
stop to consider the fact that perhaps, for whatever reason, justified
or not, people just don't like you? There is nothing I can do about
that, yet it is only your problem, not ours. As one who favours the
hunt, I wish you and your attackers luck and a good hunt. Perhaps tales
shall be told of it, if exciting enough.
