Rejoice!

Addressed to: Everyone
My Citizens,
Rejoice! Your Lord and Master walks on high. My decades of cruel, harsh,
thoughtless and thoroughly sticky abandonment in the Void have ended,
and I return in victory to the realms I once called home to regain and
reclaim My title. The work My noble, dearly departed brother Guido began
is sadly unfinished, and I view it My solemn duty to carry it through to
its ultimate end. For you see, Lusternia is a sick place. It is wounded.
Mortally so. Such terrible events happen here on a nigh-daily basis.
Brutal deaths, murders. Worse still, twisted monstrosities reave their
accursed way through the planar fabrics! Just recently I witnessed (from
a safe spot in the aetherbubbles, of course... it would not do for King
of All to be wounded in such an unbecoming conflict) the rebirth of
Shellma Natharien and her thrice-blasted angelic army. Lusternia is
ailing, and sadly, the disease is terminal.
Yet I, as ever, have a solution! Not a cure, for alas, the sickness has
spread too far into the aether for that. Just as My servant Estarra
cannot destroy the Soulless Gods without also destroying the Multiverse,
so I cannot cure this malady without destroying you all. Alas, it is
necessary for My divine plan. And thusly I require certain items from
you.
Nine Seal Bearers, including the vaunted Soll of Celest, I require your
medallions. I believe the uniting of all nine in Myself will permit an
unworking of their initial intention: this will allow the destruction of
the Nine Seals and reawakening of Lord Kethuru, Devourer of All. He
shall consume the multiverse, reducing it to nothing, and from it again
we may be reborn! Anew, fresh, healed! Surely there is no nobler
purpose. Yet as I ever I sense there shall be strife, conflict -
ambition, no doubt, to usurp My throne. Citizens, I regret to inform you
that this is not a request, it is a demand. I authorize full use of
violence against those Seal Bearers who do not comply with My divine
orders. Yet I do so with a heavy heart, for I love all My subjects and
wish no harm upon any until the Final Reckoning.
Until next I choose to speak,
King Jack Flagg,
Lord of Lusternia
Penned by my hand on the 21st of Kiani, in the year 188 CE.
