The fall of a Tyrant

Dear Celest:

I sympathize with you, the members of city who watch idly at the
degradation of the status of your city.

I sympathize with you, who sit and watch idly as the Tyrant, Forren
Shervalian, continues to oppress those of you who strive for better.

I sympathize with the Basin, who must suffer the consequences of
Forren's clear bias towards Serenwilde, from his well-known ties with
Aesyra.

I understand, people of Celest, that Forren is quite a powerful man, and
intimidating at best, but often times oppressive. I know, from personal
experience, that he will be quick to challenge you to a duel to the
death if you but challenge his will.

You may say to yourselves, no, he's just strong willed, this does not
sound like the man that I elected! Let it be known, Celest, that power
corrupts and twists, as has clearly happened to Forren.

You, who sit idly by and notice this happening. You, who see past this
man's twisted words, schemes, and plots. You, the intelligent beings who
know the paradise you could be living in, you are who I call upon now.

Knowing that Forren will surely kill a weak challenger, I have
personally sought and found a brave champion, who shall lead the meek
and oppressed from the rubble Forren has thrown upon them, and return
New Celest to it's former glory.

This champion is none other than Lord Asmoth. I call upon you to make
him Prince Asmoth, Heir to the Celestian Throne!

Any political questions that Lord Asmoth cannot answer may be directed
to me, though I doubt you will need do much more than search your heart
to find any answers you need. If you have a question about Lord Asmoth's
policies, just ask yourself: is it righteous? is it just? The answers to
these questions are YES. You will always be able to know that, with
Prince Asmoth on the throne.

Now, ask yourself this: can you know this with Forren Shervalian on the
throne?

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Dvarsh, in the year 186 CE.
