The Holy Light of Celestia

Quietly and politely, one by one, the angelic companions of the
Celestines began departing, offering their condolences as they did so.
Seeking to understand why, the Celestine Azyurial and the Paladin Squire
Bomo went to pay a visit to the Holy Supernals, to what they feared was
a grave result - the Supernals were nowhere to be seen. Japhiel was not
within his courts, nor Methrenton at his forge - Shakiniel had left from
her sanctum, and Raziela had gone from her gardens. After a few days
Japhiel had returned briefly, allowing passage to the Throne of
Brilliance. As several of New Celest came in attendance, Japhiel
explained only briefly the Supernals were departing to hold council, and
would be gone some time. After their departure, the Holy Mother Azula
arrived, Ecclesiarch of Celestia, worried over the rumours she had
heard.

Some time would pass before Jarana Farain and her younger brother
Tytone, along with Thiodone Ladyn and Torilli, tutor of the Celestines,
were found in Raziela's gardens, attempting to coax the cherubs into
offering some word of the ongoings of the Supernals. With nothing to be
gained, Azula decided that they would attempt to contact the Holy Saints
of the Light, mortals that had long ago surrendered their souls
completely to the Light, melding their soul and the Light until there
was no longer a separation of the two for those individuals. As they
used the Five Sacrosanct Globes, artifacts of power that had come to
reside within the Gardens of Celestial Remembrance, Sir Inagin La'Saet,
Shakiniel's Charge, empowered the angels of Celestia with the aid of his
fellow Paladins and the assistance of the Celestines. As each globe was
fully empowered, the blessings of the Supernals emerged, rays of
celestial light streaking up from the Deep Blue Cathedral.

In answer to their summons, the Saints appeared high above the skies of
Celestia, and soon the Supernals joined them. Raining blessings upon the
Celestines and Paladins, the blessed art of imbuing one's own soul with
the Light of Celestia was revealed - and so those practitioners of the
sacred art of Sacraments discovered, in some small form, the powers that
the Saints themselves wield, now able to draw the Holy Light of Celestia
into themselves by championing the causes of the Light, both at home and
upon the field of battle.

Penned by My hand on the 14th of Juliary, in the year 256 CE.
