As the time for the second Trial of Ascension grew nigh, Avechna the
Avenger's voice boomed across the Basin, inviting all combatants to
divide themselves into teams of three and compete for the Seal of War.

The first wargames was calmly won by Daevos, Lyco and Ceren, who waited,
aloof, until the other teams were bloodied before striding into the fray
and cutting down all in their path.

Then there came the second Wargames, and Visaeris, Revan and Thoros
stood twice victorious, confirming their win after discrepancies forced
a rematch between the last three teams.

In the third Wargames, the trio of Myndaen, Forren and Malicia stood
supreme. Separated from his group, Myndaen was ruthlessly slain at an
early juncture, but Forren and Malicia nonetheless took on Sojiro,
Krellan and Xiel, slaying the latter two and forcing Sojiro to retreat.
However, the Warden of the Moonhart soon reclaimed his dignity, storming
into Sharamah, Pentu and Synl and singlehandedly crushing all three
beneath his mighty flails before he slew himself.

The fourth Wargames was won by Sojiro, Krellan and Xiel, who decimated
the opposition, hacking apart the triple demigod team of Narsrim,
Kaervas, and Hyrtakos to win their places in the final.

The four victorious teams entered the Klangratch Tournies for the final
battle knowing that the winners would claim the Medallion of War. While
Visaeris, Revan and Thoros fought Myndaen, Forren and Malicia, Daevos,
Lyco and Ceren engaged Krellan, Sojiro and Xiel. Myndaen, Forren, and
Malicia were quickly cut down, and Lyco was torn to shreds by Krellan's
demesne. Daevos and Ceren fled, regrouping at the end of a cave to make
a last stand, where they were cornered, pinned down, and eventually
killed.

Now the battle for the Medallion of War entered its final phase. Thoros,
Revan and Visaeris were unwilling to enter Krellan's demesne, so Krellan
assailed them in dreamform, attempting to wear them down. Finally, the
Serenwilders lost patience and made a disasterous attack. Krellan was
almost instanteously impaled upon Thoros's twin swords, and, writhing
agonisingly upon the blades, he could not call upon his demesne. The
Serenwilders were quickly dispatched and Thoros, Revan and Visaeris
stood once again victorious.

At the summit of Avechna's Peak, Thoros and Revan pledged their support
to Visaeris as the Champion of the Seal of War, and Avechna, the Avenger
bestowed the Medallion of War upon him.
