16.1.2.1 DUTIES OF PRIVATE LIBRARIANS

Whenever a bookshelf is constructed in a guildhall, order temple or aethermanse, a private library is formed. The following commands are available to the librarian, as follows:

o BOOKSHELF SHELVE <book ID#>
This permanently shelves a book into the private library. One copy will be
created for checking out. (N.B. in scroll12345, the book ID# is 12345)

o BOOKSHELF UNSHELVE <book ID#>
This permanetly removes a book from the private library.
  (Head Librarian only.)

o BOOKSHELF SET <book ID> [ACCESS|SUBJECTS] <variable(s)>
The librarian may set access levels to PUBLIC, RESTRICTED or SECRET.
Also, the librarian may catalog the book according to subjects. When setting
subjects, this command replaces the current list of subjects rather than
adding to the list. Be sure to include all subjects on one line.

o BOOKSHELF NAME <name>
The librarian may change the name of the private library.
  (Head Librarian only.)

o BOOKSHELF ISSUECARD <ply> [RESTRICTED|SECRET]
The librarian may issue library cards. Restricted includes public access
and secret includes both restricted and public.

o BOOKSHELF REVOKECARD <ply>
The librarian may revoke library cards.

o BOOKSHELF AUDIT CARDS
The librarian may audit all library cards.

NOTE: For order and guild private libraries, their respective members
automatically have public access.
