I would definitely try my best to attend something like this. While I've never had any desire whatsoever to go to Vegas, I think the prospect of a giant IRE party would make it worth it.

Also, some fellow Canadians better voice some interest as well. Travelling in a pair or more would be much more enjoyable.

Unless it was hosted in my own backyard, I would have interest but not the time or $$$ unfortunately.

We don't want you here anyways.

US isn't all bad! Just avoid non-touristy parts of major cities, like Baltimore, Camden, Detroit... and some parts of Washington, D.C. ... but just the northwest and southwest parts? Or was it northeast and southeast parts?

Do one on the east coast again and maybe. I don't fly.

I thought this known? I don't think i have ever known someone who would come to Michigan for Detroit.

It all comes down to exactly when it would be organised for, though I'm pretty sure with some careful budgeting and as long as it is not too close to this present point in time, I MIGHT be able to scrape together enough for it.

On my budget I doubt I could make it if it was scheduled for less than 6 months away.

*squeal*

Someplace closer to my neck of the woods. Exciting.

If Xiel's in, I have to go!
Rakor2012-08-12 14:25:35
Do it in Taiwan and I'll come!

I would be extremely interested in this but there are a lot of huge ifs that all have to occur for me to go to this which likely will not happen. IF someone actually decides to review and accept one of the many applications I've sent out for a job, IF I can get the money I need to go one this trip, IF I can get the said time off to go on this trip, IF I can get my bestie to go with me cause I don't wanna go alone, IF I am not needed around the house to help take care of sick family members THEN I'll go. Good luck on any of those happening though. Makes me sad. I would love to go.

East Coast Canada here.

Miciah may be living with me by next year as well; if so, we'll both be heading down at the same time.
Jayden2012-08-13 04:18:44
It is my *cough* birthday next year, so unless my dreams come true and Channing Tatum finally proposes to me, my money will be spent for my trip to Spain or Sydney or some foreign country where they speak a language I can understand that is not in North or South America
Llandros2012-08-13 15:18:16
With sufficient notice I could prolly swing some kind of vacation there that just "happened" to be when the iron con was.
I mean it would totally not be my fault if they just turned out to be at the same time and place. I mean since I would be there anyway I might as well go.

Edit:
((suggest that iron beard visit the game with the largest attendance!))

I've always wanted to see Vegas, so I would like to go :)

Lusternians should so do an RL Nature Seal challenge.

Get a bingo card with a bunch of stuff that is around Vegas (drunken white man trying to dance, prostitute, drag queen, someone who is about to get a divorce...)

First person to mark a bingo off of it gets a prize. Bonus points if they took pictures of all of it.

You're more likely to find someone who is about to get married.

Add to the bingo card "a house that's for sale" because supposedly, they have lots of those!
