Wyrd

Richter.
While I care little to nothing for your idealistic garbage of harmony,
and I am almost tickled by your ever-reaching grasp for more power, I
wish to point out a serious flaw in your arguement.
When Illith freed Herself from the Prison Keph built, She began
devouring the Taint. Solely the Taint. She devoured the Essence of
Kethuru.
And it was then Crow reverted to Raven. It was then the Holy Emanations
returned. Demons were gone, replaced by angels.
When we freed Kethuru, He sent out a shockwave of Taint when He fought
back Illith. This shockwave tainted the village of Acknor, turning the
orclach once again into horrible orc, and left many present in the city
as undead. And Raven returned to Crow once more.
To claim the Taint does not exist within the Wyrd is ignorance. With all
due respect to the Lady Viravain, the word of a single Elder Goddess
does not refute experience and knowledge. Especially one whom makes home
in a Forest known for deception, betrayal, and lies. These are the ways
of Night - why should I, or any one, trust this?
And at the same time, I hope New Celest, with the knowledge gained from
the Black Heart of the Dark Empress, coupled with their own witnessing
of Kethuru's defeat of Illith's imprisoned half, has or will rethink
their stance on Glomdoring.
As I said, to say the Wyrd is not Taint is a statement of ignorance and
intentional blindness. It is Taint. It is Taint empowered by Viravain,
when She tricked Isune, who used Her powers as an artist to mask the
Taint and change it from a rusty, sickening red into a vile mauve.
You can paint a potato purple and tell me it's a grape, however it does
not change the fact that, beneath the purple paint, it is in fact a
potato.
