Here follows a letter composed by Dedicant Toby, Hart's Praise:

SERENWILDE
----------

Here I shall explain my love for Serenwilde. The gift of life is the
most sacred thing that we have been given to use as we wish, and I
intend not to misuse it.

First, Serenwilde is untainted. The taint are the people who sacrifice
their form for power. Now, this is wrong on two different levels. The
first of which is that the gift of life should not be manipulated to
squeeze everything out of it. You were given a soul for a reason, not as
something you need to try and lose. The second reason that the tainted
are flawed is that the reason someone seeks power is to gain dominance
over another person or group. If everyone was tainted as the tainted
wished, then everybody would have exactly that much more power and thus
nobody would be any more or less superior than they would have been
untainted, so greedily seeking power is obviously wrong, and seeking to
manipulate the gift of life to gain pointless power is wrong also, and
Serenwilde does not support the taint.

Second, Serenwilde is natural. What is the difference between a city
made out of stone and a commune of people who live in the wild? Just
because you didnt plan every inch of a place doesnt mean you cannot live
there or find it equally useful. That being said, the reason that one
should lean towards naturalness is that it is full of life: trees,
animals, etc. that would have been shreaded had a city been built there.
Why should he who came from nature separate himself from it? I would
consider any squirrel in the forest of Serenwilde my brother, and not
think myself greater than any of them, as they have been given the
beautiful wonderful gift of life which is unquestionably equal in its
magnificance.

Third, Serenwilde is peaceful. Serenwilde does not throw itself at
someone without knowing what they're dealing with. After cleverly hiding
from the taint, Serenwilde came back and got the hang of its
surroundings before it decided to start attempting to affect the events
occuring in the Basin of Life. Now, while Serenwilde would not be
hesitant to take up arms to defend its ideals, it does not blindly seek
destruction.

Therefor, with those reasons above, Glomdoring, Celest, and Magnagora
are forced to their knees before the great presence of the Forest of
Serenwilde, and I have explained why I love it so much.
