Elder Gods, and the Serenwilde

Greetings, Lady Terentia, Basin of Life.

Despite my off-clouded thought, I'm sure my mark is at least clear on
this. Firstly, we do not need the Elders to hand us everything, and Raan
is no perfect font of indisputably factual information. Though I believe
none of us are, nor are the Elders.

However, I believe it of interesting note, one of such historical
figures you speak of, Glinshari Strongleaf, had a great hatred towards
the cities. In fact, it is well known among the Hartstone that he had to
be restrained several times, from bringing the full wrath and fury of
the forests, seas and mountains upon the city You take home in - well,
it's predecessor, as New Celest is nothing more than a pale shadow of
it's former self. Thankfully.

As well, it took the great compassion and temperance of his mate,
Ellindel, to keep him from doing so. At least, this is what we believe,
as we see no indisputable facts of open war against the Holy Celestine
Empire - though, the Spirits speak in riddles, and not even I nor Dylara
can make them speak of that which they do not wish to.

I hope this alleviates any concerns throughout the Basin, and reaffirms
everyone's belief that, historically, we despise all cities - and, no
matter how incorrect Raan's assumptions, inferences, and general grasp
of the situation may be, she was quite correct in her belief that
Auseklis despised cities, as does the Serenwilde - only once has the
Serenwilde had a Divine who was even indifferent towards the cities, and
He remained but a patron of the Hartstone, not of the Forest as a whole.

Divine often find themselves members of forests and cities with similar
views, or mutual feelings - for instance, You take home in New Celest
because You share their views and beliefs on the Taint, and, if my
memory serves, feel a kinship or a feeling of gratitude to the angels of
Celestia, who nursed You to health, allowing You to retrieve the Eye of
Dynara - despite having later lost it to my esteemed Lord, the Huntsman,
who still holds it in His protection.

Likewise, Auseklis was at home in the Serenwilde, as the Glomdoring was
dead and with only a few undead perversions lurking in it's shadows. He
held a great love for Nature and the Spirits, though He and I would have
many differing views, He seems more in line with Maeve than the White
Hart or any such Collective Spirit. Then again, He was an Awakener, and
I more prefer those of the Seventh Circle, though my love for Charune is
well known.

Granted, though I am sure some will attempt to perceive it, no insult
was meant - simply... edification of the masses. As You said, there were
no Elders anywhere in Lusternia, nonetheless the Basin of Life, since
the end of the Elder Wars - though, I guess in some sense, one could
argue Elcyrion was, simply shattered across the face of all the First
World.

At any rate.

With the White Hart,
Keeper of the Sacred Grove, Kalodan Faechild

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Avechary, in the year 174 CE.
