I do not for once deny the perversity that has haunted our leadership in
these short years. What my City has done shames me and many others that
I love. I can trust no one save a few of those close. If the bastion of
hope is so quick to deal out death and judgement I would consider too
your faith in us to protect you. I would have liked to believe in
universal understanding and compassion for the innocence that is quickly
stained in blood. It has slain me in its hypocrisy that we betray
ourselves so easily. We profess to live at a higher standard than those
around us. If indeed all is seen and made known in the Light then this
absolute shall betray itself in the end to those unable to soundly make
the simplest of moral choices. Integrity is all we have and once
forsaken it can never be retained.

What they have done was not a mistake, and do not pardon the deeds of
those lost souls that so aimlessly followed without direction. They are
there and will forever stain this once fair City. A priesthood is now a
mockery, and our faces are looked upon in scorn by the those around us.
It is a world turned upside down for myself and it should indeed be the
same for you. I would have saved the innocent faethorn if I had but
known their plight fairest of all love. Your fire has not left me. It
now lies before the storm all alone and left amongst the zephyr and
tempest that now plagues my consciousness.
