Ignorance

Dear Aiakon.
I thank you for your attempt to espouse Auseklis' beliefs, however He
believed that Glomdoring was the penultimate representation of survival,
and the will to adapt, change, or die. He also believed all cities
deserved to be ground to ash and dust.
Why, here we are, from one of the earliest Seren posts...
"When some of you are running this city, feel free to decide whatever
direction you wish for. Until such a time, there will be no
allegiances."
In other words, there will be NO alliances with cities, on His watch. He
encouraged an alliance with New Celest solely to use you for what you
were and are - tools. Simply because I pick up a sickle to harvest the
wheat, does not mean this sickle and I are the greatest of friends and
allies.
And in truth, I see a far greater threat, with my own eyes, in the
wretched city and their tainted garden to the south of us, than that
tainted hole to the east. The values of civilization are contrary to
those of Nature, by mere definition, cities live in opposition, while
communes live in harmony.
Glomdoring should be wary, for even in the smallest of sense, I
respected them for being a commune, for living in harmony with their
environment, no matter how tainted and corrupt it may be. To become too
alike with New Celest will serve Glomdoring poorly.
And as an aside just for you, oh sweet Aiakon - you do Saaga more harm
than good, which I think is perhaps exactly your intent. Then again,
I've seen many examples, from the lowest to the Highest of your city, of
blunderings, mistakes, and outright falsities. So, out of respect for
the Wanderer, do not spill forth such offal from your mouth.
Besides, it was well known Auseklis despised laws and commands, and
expected all to behave on their own good will. I doubt He commanded much
of anything, except perhaps those spirits He Awoken.
