Serenwilde and Glomdoring

Civilized peoples of the Basin, commune-dwellers, villagers, beings of
the Higher Planes and Fae,

It is not often, anymore, that I feel compelled to step in and speak so
loudly, but I fear I might do it now. I'm old, and such practices are
now mostly for my own amusement - Don't expect me to join you in a long,
drawn out debate about something or other. I'm just going to state my
opinion and move out; feel free to disagree, or, if you're a complete
idiot (And there are many in the Basin, as I am sure to know) or a
Celestine (Redundant, I know), feel free to insult me, scorn me, mock
me, or make yourself look bigger in front of your peers.

Now that we have that out of the way, my message.

First, Kalodan, your use of the public boards to whine and complain
about Lady Viravain's (Most assuredly justifiable - And I'm usually the
last person to agree with Viravain) removal of your utterly unnecessary
and often misused tongue (I cannot bear myself to think of how Viravain
took it - Magically, I hope for her sake. I don't want to know where the
thing has been) seemed to me as just a cry for attention. Pointing out
the fact that you killed some random idiot novice from Glomdoring and so
on and so forth. Must I be bombarded with such idiocy every time I care
to look at the Aether? Wouldn't waiting for the end of your (Deserved)
punishment be better? Do you have to tell everyone the tale?

Second, Exarius, while I appreciate your efforts to maneuvre into a
position of power in Serenwilde, you should know by now that there is no
such a thing. Serenwilde is a mob, not a people, not a nation, not a
culture. A barbaric mob with no objective other than make itself feel
superior by putting down their weaker, Wyrden counterparts. Let it be
known that, as far as I'm concerned, Glomdoring isn't Tainted. The Taint
wants nothing to do with Glomdoring.

And lastly, to Glomdoring, just one message: What did you expect? Why do
you even care to complain about Serenwilde not keeping its word? How
long did you expect them to keep it? They do not care about the Fae,
they do not care about the forest, they do not care about the spirits. I
learned that the hard way. Serenwilde's 'beliefs' are a lie, a lie
they've been telling themselves since the Taint Wars, covering their
fanatical, egotistic, prejudiced, selfish isolationism under the guise
of protection. But even the most daft Paladin I can find sees right
through their patter. Let this be a lesson; do not trust Serenwilde. You
shouldn't have ever given them an inch. That forest has decayed into
barbarism. It is unlikely that a voice of reason will rise to control
the mob; I tried. Nil, Nejii has been trying for years - He's just far
too weak, or perhaps the deranged mob is too strong. Kicking out some
people would be a good start, but inside Serenwilde, good fighters are
above the law - another sign that they're no more than a tribe of insane
savages. It is sad, but true, that in the end, Serenwilde must be kept
under control through force.

If you two must argue endlessly like two children over a toy, please,
take it off the boards and into some location where I can watch the
ensuing carnage. Endless, circular arguing, much like going out and
senselessly murdering each other's children, accomplishes nothing. But I
know which one amuses me the most.

Hoping some of the savages in the Communes will develop some common
sense,
