Contesting the leadership of Serenwilde

To make the depth of my feelings fully public, I publish here verbatim
what I just posted to the Serenwilde board on contesting for leadership
of Serenwilde.
-------------------------
A promise is a promise. There _are_ no extenuating circumstances. That
was the very first lesson I learned from the fae, and shame on every
Moondancer who has forgotten it.
No one, man or god, can make a promise go away once given, and only he
to whom you gave it can release you.
If there was any other place in the world worth living, my disgust over
this devil's pact with Glomdoring being so cavalierly broken would cause
me to leave the forest in protest. Alas, there is not, so let my vote of
no confidence be my protest instead.
I have no illusion of being elected. I have no wish to run the
Serenwilde. But I will not stand by and let the world think I condoned
this travesty, or was in any way party to it.
A promise IS a promise.
