Hail, Regent of Serenwilde.

We have exchanged communications in private, but since Narsrim has seen
fit to defend his actions in so public a forum, I believe it is best
that we not whisper in hushed voices nor exchange messages in the dark.
Let our statements be bold and open, where all the people of the Basin
can read them and judge.

I contacted you when it became apparent that Narsrim was intending to
rob those Magnagorans who are ill-prepared to defend themselves, asking
you to halt this behavior. You offered your assurances that it would not
continue, and that you would reign in such abhorrent behavior. You have
reneged on that promise, as I have witnessed Narsrim making several
attempts on the property of Magnagorans since we last spoke, and by his
own admission he does not intend to stop until he has collected the sum
of 900,000 sovereigns worth of property. It is still my hope that you
have not sunk to approval of such behavior, and that Narsrim has only
broken the laws you set forth. I will assume that is the case, and I
call upon you to effectively and permanently settle this matter.

Magnagora has always been quick to halt behavior that we consider
dishonourable within our own borders. When I served as Heresiarch of the
Nihilists, I cast the most notorious of thieves, Yrael, both from guild
and city, and banned him from re-joining - halting the theft which
required use of the Megalith's resources. My stance was clear, and my
expectations inescapably so. Magnagora will see the Taint spread to all
the reaches of civilization and beyond, and under the Engine shall the
land know true peace, culture and prosperity, but we shall not enjoy
dominance through theft or through other behavior that will besmirch the
good name of our government. These are not acts that harm the collective
enemies of our great Empire, but rather harm only the individual: the
Mage apprentice, the young Cleric of Nil, the aspirant to Moon's
teachings. These are not the acts of Champions, proud Knights, and
valorous warriors.

It is upon you, Regent of Serenwilde, to make clear that this behavior
will not be tolerated. To make clear that our differences, that our
divisions, are aimed at the collective ideal, and not at crushing the
individual underfoot. And it is upon all the people of Serenwilde to
ensure that they stand up for the values they believe in, to never cower
before the mighty and the strong simply because it is the easier path.
One voice may be too small to be heard, but a united people cannot be
ignored.

The move is yours.
