Regarding your thoughts on my thoughts.

Caedryn,

It was my intent to leave the topic as it was, but there are a few
points I as well feel are worth mentioning.

First, whether or not my home may have made a speciality or even feature
of what you believe me to condemn is neither here nor there.

To begin with the profound, what others do is hardly relevant when it
comes to the justification of your action, unless you adhere to a
doctrine where the ends justify the means.

Also, you are mistaken if you believe me to condemn the features of the
Serenwilde I mentioned. Much rather, pointing them out as what they are
is already my sole intention, so as to contradict the often heard of
feeble justifications the Serenwilde enjoys to make when acting against
others or those in their midst of differing ideology.

Silencing a voice of dissent with whatever means necessary is far from
an invalid practice, and indeed found with all nations of these lands.
However, as a nation who justifies their slaying of fae as acts of
benevolence and protection, you simply cannot afford indulging in the
hypocritical stifling of self-evaluation you do, as doing so betrays
your acts as the same notions you so ardently condemn as deluded and
selfish when commited by the likes of Glomdoring. While, indeed, slaying
a fae for whatever reason is murder no matter your proclaimed
justifications, attempting to weasel out of the gravity of your
transgressions quite simply constitutes the very hypocrisy I was poking
fun at.

As for Syntobis, I am convinced there is more to the story. Having
served as a secretary to the Moondancers and Minister of the Wilde in my
time, I have been well privy to my fair share of one-sided stories and
machinations. However, I have seen enough to recognize the base pattern
of the kind of story that happens all too frequently in your midst.
Syntobis, while likely not all as injustly served as he claims to be,
has essentially fallen prey to the truth I have tried to convey in my
previous post - freely voiced thoughts diverging from the laid-down
doctrines are not welcome in the Serenwilde. Considering how essential
the constant re-evaluation of ones creed may be to anyone claiming to
act on the high morale ground, this again brings me back full cycle to
my previous paragraph.

Finally, let me soothe those worries that Syntobis may appear to invoke
a big, hidden conspiracy in place in the Serenwilde. The profound
shortcomings of your dogma that have played a major role in Syntobis's
expulsion are far from secret and shine brightly to anyone no longer
caught up in your metaphorical patch of briars. It is always more
attractive to blame a voice of dissent to ill-spirited badmouthing and
egotripping than to simply admit your policies to be in the wrong, or
ineffective, isn't it?
