Public News Post #695

Celest, Telum, etc etc

I am delighted that you approve of my wit, Narsrim. It passes my time
while I continue this fruitless, dull debate. In essence, your point is
this: no matter how appropriate Kayde's point, it is disqualified from
consideration in your eyes, because you regard it as inherently
hypocritical. There we will have to differ. Firstly, I do not regard it
as hypocritical. Secondly, I do not ignore intelligent comment, simply
because I do not approve of the commentator. To do so seems to me
arrogant foolishness. However, you are both arrogant and foolish, and I
would not expect you to agree.

Regarding 'indecency', you are mistaken. Indecency is applauded in
Celest, but only in private. Telum's mistake was to allow his indecency
to become too public, and his punishment was the consequence. Private
vice and public (perhaps I should remove that L) virtue, has ever been
Celest's maxim. I wonder... have you ever visited the plane of Celestia?
Have you ever been surrounded by the clawing, pleading Cherubrim,
begging to be slain and re-embodied into Demonic incarnation? Moaning
piteously at the foul uses they are put to by the so-called Priests of
Light? The 'Loving Radiance' is quite a different thing than is commonly
known, let me tell you. It is for this reason that the morally
redundant, ethically bankrupt state of New Celest prohibits common
travellers from pausing a moment on their most 'holy' plane. Perhaps it
is for this reason that young Telum took his own life.

In any case, enough of this.
