A necessary lesson

Mage of the Taint,
Your fervour in inventing these imagined 'flaws' in my words is amusing,
but unfortunately misdirected. For all your arguments, there has still
not been one reason given for any dislike of Elfen peoples (other than
envy), or why Faelings would be excepted from that distaste.
Nonetheless, I shall point out your mistakes, that you might hopefully
learn from them.
You assert that because I am not a changeling, I can know nothing about
them. Let me assure you, one does not need to become a tree to know that
it has roots, nor be a stalk of grass to know that it can bend.
Observation and evidence support that which I have said, simply denying
it out of spite is sadly not as convincing.
You say that one's form does not affect the mind. I fear it necessary to
point out to you that any Changeling who has assumed the form of an
Orclach will find grasping the simplest elements of spellcasting
difficult, no matter what their previous ability. One's intelligence and
mind is indeed linked intrinsically to one's race.
As for stating that the Elfen peoples are not welcome in the City of
Taint, you say it is untrue with naught a whisper of reason or thought.
It seems you would have much in common with the fallen forest of the
south, for irrational denial is one of their greatest strengths. You say
that none of the Peoples would give up their sacred heritage for the
horrific plague that is borne by the Viscanti horde, yet this is clearly
untrue. Your changelings forsake such forms in favour of the Children of
the Forest, in times of your City's greatest need and efforts, and they
are rewarded for it.
As I said, you need not fear the dawning supremacy of the Elfen peoples.
Embrace your destiny.
From the deep forest,
Elryn Greythane.
