One question about Insanity--the ultimate cause

Thanks for helping us all out Marina, and for letting this boyo assist
ye.

I do have one hypothetical I needed to discuss. Before we did the
ritual, I ended up talking to Lacostian's brother, Elcyrion. When I
talked to Elcyrion, the boyo seemed to suggest the causes of insanity
were more related to the planes, and had nothing to do with
Kethuru--something about planes bumping into each other. (He spoke some
really technical jargon that I didn't totally get either, so my
apologies if I didn't understand).

But yet, when I brought that up with Lacostian before ye began the
ritual, he seemed to suggest that it was caused by the
spaghetti-squid-thing, or at least seepage of his aura, essence, or
what-not. That Kethuru's out-of-phase presence twists everything around,
and ultimately that's why everybody started going batty when they go up
there for a long time.

So, I just figured I throw this final question out there. I'm glad we
have a cure for it, so we don't need to build ourselves any asylums, but
this just leaves me a bit curious.

Who's right, Lacostian or Elcyrion?

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Dioni, in the year 137 CE.
