As all Aquamancers and Geomancers should know, your demesnes wither the
herbs that grow within them.

This isn't to say that you shouldn't make your demesne wherever you
please, but if you make it in Astral, you're killing off Sparkleberry
for your citymates. If you make it in a swamp, you're killing off
Calamus, Horehound, and Myrtle. Make it in the hills...whoops! There
goes the Pennyroyal.

In case you ever want your friends to be able to use these herbs, or Nil
forbid, use them yourself, be very aware of what land you meld with.
