Visaeris' quest for power

Hail, Lusternia.
I speak to you all as a Wiccan and a Faeling, and I denounce this foul
attempt to scavenge power from the twisted remains of once-great
Gloriana. Do not forget so quickly the lust for power that drove the
Emperor to scourge us with the Taint of Kethuru so many years ago, that
drove life itself to the brink of destruction. To speak of resurrecting
the bodies of the wise Druids that were our brethren in the south as
both slaves and carriers of the Taint revolts me to the core. That a
common thug is trying to bend them to his will... it is abhorrent.
If it is your wish, Visaeris, to sit amongst the corrupted boughs and
play at 'civilization', then indulge your fantasies, but do not awaken
forces beyond your control. Many sacrifices were made to ensure that the
horrors that stalk fallen Gloriana were halted at her borders, and I
would not see them voided for the sake of a vainglorious lich. You would
do well to heed the lessons of history.
If the creatures that call themselves Rowena Nightshade and Brennan
Stormcrow are roused to seek expansion again, I dread to think of the
far-reaching consequences for all Lusternians - even those who believe
themselves bedded with the Taint or far enough away from it.
I beg you all, for the sake of our continued existence, refuse Visaeris
in his quest for personal glory. Let him build castles in the dirt, but
do not help him damn us all.
Heed that I speak only for myself, using what knowledge I am given.
May the wisdom of Mother Moon guide us all,
Elryn.
