Greetings Basin of life, and particularly people of the Serenwilde
Commune.

Several months ago I was enemied to Serenwilde durring the opening month
of the war between Serenwilde and Glomdoring. At the time, I did not
post anything, as I had simply given up on Serenwilde because of their
actions against me. Now however I have heard a very disturbing rumor
which I feel I should put down right now...

A short time ago I spoke with my wife, and she told me that when she
asked some Serens why I was enemied, she was told that I attacked a
Serenwilder. This is completely and utterly false, and I would very much
like to speak with the ill informed person who made that statement. The
reason I was enemied is because I had, for several months up to that
point, been trying to find a way to ward off the entire war, and that
beginning conflict was destroying any possible headway I may have made.
Durring the conflict I went back and forth from Serenwilde to Glomdoring
several times trying to get some people talking to eachother, so as to
stop the fighting long enough to get some for of peace. Toward the end
of that effort, I had been speaking to Malicia, and she had begun to
stop answering me... Therefore I went to the Ethereal Moonhart Mother
Tree to speak with her. I spoke openly, so that all there could hear me,
and many agreed with what I said, while a few dissagreed and argued
against me. It was at this time that someone, I believe Laysus told me
to leave, or they would kill me. I stated that if they wanted to kill me
for trying to prevent a war then they should do so.

Well, they did.

After conglutinating back to the Portal, I returned to Serenwilde, and
returned to Ethereal Serenwilde to further make my point, upon ariving I
did not attack anyone, nor had I been deffed previously or at this time.
I asked Laysus what it had accomplished, and many of them made several
wise cracks about it, which I simply ignored as they were poorly thought
of and foolish to the extreme. Laysus however again stated that I should
leave or be killed, and so I asked him what it would prove. It was then
that I was enemied, and killed again.

At no time durring this did I make any aggressive move against anyone of
Serenwilde. I wanted nothing more than for people to try to stop killing
eachother en masse. After being enemied, I had no way of working with
Serenwilde, so I gave up and watched the conflict escalate, thanks in no
small part to Lady Lisaera's endeavors.

I have always considered people of Serenwilde fairly level headed, with
a select few being... Difficult... Nejii, Malicia, Laysus (though I've
always rather disliked him since leaving the Moondancers)... I've always
respected them, Nejii I'm still unsure of, since he does still seem to
have control of his own will and can think for himself, the other two I
have fully lost respect for.

Peace is not an easy thing to keep, especially in such situations of
utterly opposing beliefs. Fanaticism does nothing but inflame the
situation, which sadly is what Serenwilde is filling with... I only hope
that such thoughtless violence does not continue indeffinetly, but at
this moment, I do not see any way for this conflict to end if Serenwilde
is unable to see that it can no longer get every single thing they want.
