Wit? What?

Do they teach articulation and creations of verbosity in Glomdoring
these days, Lomdomian? Those were some mighty interesting words you
threw together there - I'm not sure they amount to much, but I commend
your efforts at humour in these dark and trying times. Truly, we need
more jesters in the Basin.

While I can't hope to compete with your adder-like wit or compensate for
your lack of ritual lore and sacred rites, I do pity you for your
misunderstanding and feeble-mindedness, Lomdomian. I don't believe you
would ever be welcome among us, but I am sure we could arrange for some
parchments of a more intellectual nature for you to peruse in your spare
time between your little skits and running after your masters in
Magnagora. Perhaps it could help to enlighten you as to why Tully's
ramblings were found offensive among us.

Please, let us know.

Laneth, Moon Guide of the True Coven.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Urlachmar, in the year 124 CE.
