Call for help

Greetings Basin of life.
Many of you do not know me, many of you do, I am writing this because I
need help. I've recently left the Serenwilde, as such I am without many
allies, or people who I might call on for help in a cause that could
take a good deal of time and effort. For that reason, I am calling on
any who might read this, and see it as a challenge.
What is it I want... I want yet another forest commune to be returned to
the Basin of life. But here I am getting ahead of myself already. It
took, well over a decade for the Glomdoring to become a living commune
in the Basin of Life. A great deal of effort, work, and eventually it
took a Divine 'healing' the forest to bring the commune into existence.
I do not believe this will be an easy task to accomplish. But I find
that I am without a home at this time, not because of a lack of choices,
but because of a lack of ideals within the choices... Everywhere I turn
within this Basin, is an outpouring of some kind of hate... Be it tward
a Guild, City, Commune, Race, Spirit, Plane, Light, Taint, or God... Its
there none the less... Its not just mortals who hold such hate within
them either... I find such hate, and persecution a think lacking in
propper thought, and overwhelmed in emotion.
I've studied Nature as my guide in life, I find it a very wise being,
and a good teacher. Nature has adapted to everything that Mortal and God
alike has thrown at it. It never retaliates for any harm done against
it, but it protects itself from such harm occuring again. Or grows
stronger because of the harm. Creatures of the wild never kill for hate,
or because they don't like something about a particular creature, they
kill for food, or to protect themselves from harm. When the taint
descended upon Gloriana... The forest didn't die, it adapted to protect
itself from the harsher environment... Nature is all about balance.
Balance of life and death is nature at its most pure. But that balance
can exist in a certain tempo... In a certain speed, and still exist. The
balance of Serenwilde, is a slower balance. Creatures live easily there,
there is no shortage of food, no fighting for existence, and as such,
the creatures which live there do not adapt themselves to such
hardships. The Glomdoring, is a faster balance, all creatures within
such a forest must live quickly, must always protect themselves from
harm. Both forests are in balance, and yet different. I don't believe
its possible for Nature to be evil, or good... Good and evil are
creations of sentient beings, and tainted though the forest was, I don't
believe it has ever been evil.
What is it that makes people Hate or Envy? Why are we all so blind to
the wisdom of Nature that we don't even realize that its pointless to
continue with such bickering? I honestly don't have an answer to that
question... Though I've certainly thought about it. I can say one thing
though. The Basin of Life is a speck on an enourmous world. A lifeless
world, destroyed by Soulless gods such as Kethuru durring the Vernal
wars.
We Are All That Is Left!
And yet we look for more creative ways of KILLING eachother... And I
don't think Serenwilde, or Celest, or Magnagora can honestly argue
against that... They look for ways to kill eachother every day of their
waking lives... Though up untill recently, Serenwilde just tried to stay
out of it... Now they have someone to hate... Glomdoring... So now yet
another war begins that will last ages... Unless somehow, sentient
beings find a kind of wisdom they have never seemed to posess...
The Forest Commune I wish to bring back is the only one still remaining,
Ackleberry. I intend to learn all I can about the Forest and Commune,
and over time find a way to return it. I don't know if I'll lead it...
In all honesty, I'd rather just have a place I can live in peace, but
I'll not allow hatred within the Commune... I know there are people who
feel as I do. I know there are people who are sick of constant war. I
know there are people who don't hate others simply because they are of a
different race, or tainted, or of the light... Ackleberry will be a
place of refuge...
Whether Ackleberry will take villages for Commodities or power...
Whether it will side with one side of a conflict over another... I'm
sure eventually such virtues would be tested... Villages we might
take... Acctually it will be quite likely. But Ackleberry will stay out
of all petty conflicts... Be them between Light and Taint, Moon and
Night, Gods, or what have you. Serenwilde once tried to follow those
kind of ideals... But people saw themselves as Good, and for some
reason, drew the conclusion that Good was instantly of the light... And
so they became embroiled in the conflicts of the Basin. Such a
conclusion was false... Such beliefs are false... And they led to
struggle, and trouble, and harm... And I'll not allow such a fate for a
returned Ackleberry.
If anything I've said has struck a chord in you, or if you see this as a
challenge you are willing to take on. If you wish to see a place that
doesn't look at your race, heritage, or beliefs... But at your
character. I'm waiting for you to send me a message, telling me how you
can help. I need people who can come up with ideas, who can research,
who can speak with the Divine for guidance, who can help keep people in
the loop as to whats been discovered and further the research
accordingly, or help financially, though I'll be handling most of that
myself. This path is filled with long hours of tedious work, of
researching and asking questions, and no doubt will be very slow going.
But we will all hold the same ideals within our minds, we will all
believe the same thing, and will wish for a more united Basin of Life.
